Quality, sturdy, two color plastic engraved legend plate that is used for identification for pushbuttons, switches, pilot lights, and other operator interface devices. This is a ring-type legend plate that requires no tape or adhesive. The switch mounts through the legend plate and is locked to the surface by the device itself. 

Plastic Legend Plates are far superior to the old Metal Legend plates. The plastic legends have a thick top surface that makes them resistant to scratches. The top surface may scratch but it must be a deep cut before the background color shows through. The old metal legends are etched and then a chemical process darkens the aluminum to reveal the text. This process does not provide sharp, clear text. The darkened text will start to fade over time. The plastic legends offer clear, crisp, computer engraved text for quality appearance and consistency.

The legend plate will fit any 30 mm or 22 mm device from manufacturers like, Allen-Bradley, Square D, G.E., Cutler-Hammer, Telemecanique, Siemens, and others, depending on which hole size you chose.
